CS Joho meets West Pokot Youth Association

CS Hassan Ali Joho on Monday hosted the West Pokot Youth Association to discuss mining activities in their county.

The Cabinet Secretary shared with the youths the key initiatives the Ministry is implementing to ensure the mining sector contributes effectively to the country's economic transformation.

 "These include organizing artisanal miners into cooperatives, establishing aggregation centers to ensure fair value for minerals and attracting reputable large-scale investors who will create jobs and develop infrastructure," CS Joho informed the youths.

Cabinet Secretary encouraged the youths to sensitize their communities about the potential of mining for economic growth, emphasizing the importance of community engagement.
