State Department for Mining set for rebirth
This follows a two-day strategy retreat for officers from the State Department for Mining that was presided over by Principal Secretary Harry Kimtai.
Speaking when he officially closed the retreat, Mr Kimtai expressed satisfaction that the outcome of the retreat has set the stage for enhanced performance.
Some of the key achievements from the retreat included strategies to streamline the mining sector, strengthened commitment to service delivery and renewed focus on revitalizing the sector.
"I am confident these outcomes will positively impact our operations and fuel the sector's growth and development," the Principal Secretary said.
These resolutions will steer the State Department's ongoing efforts, injecting the urgency and momentum needed to drive progress.
